Hip Hop Classes in Kirwan, Townsville
Hip Hop That Builds Confidence and Real Skills.
DFC Hip Hop classes help kids and young teens build confidence, fitness, coordination and self-belief through structured, beginner-friendly training.
Students learn real foundations including Breaking, Popping, Locking, Tricking, choreography, musicality and freestyle.
Start With Your Child's Age Group.
DFC classes are grouped by age so students can learn at a level that feels achievable while still being challenged to grow.
DFC Mini Movers
A confident first step into Hip Hop through rhythm, coordination, movement and beginner foundations.
Students are introduced to age-appropriate Breaking, safe introductory Tricking, choreography, musicality and learning how to participate confidently in class.
Kids and Junior Hip Hop
Strong foundations for students ready to build musicality, confidence, coordination and body control through structured Hip Hop training.
Breaking, Popping, Locking, party steps, Tricking, choreography and freestyle are taught step-by-step.
Real Skills. Built Step by Step.
Students do not need to arrive already knowing these skills. They learn through Simple, progressive training that develops coordination, strength, confidence and body control over time.
Start With Foundations
Floorwork and Breaking movements are broken down into achievable steps so students can learn safely and understand how each skill works.
Build Strength and Control
As foundations improve, students begin connecting strength, balance and coordination into more challenging movement.
Experience Achievement
Progress happens through practice. Learning a skill that once felt difficult is one of the ways students begin building genuine confidence.
DFC Performance / Conditioning
As students train and progress, selected dancers may be invited into additional Performance / Conditioning sessions.
These sessions provide additional opportunities to develop fitness, performance quality, movement control and stronger skills.
They are not general-entry classes. New students simply begin in their regular age-based Hip Hop class and build from there.
Start With Hip Hop First.
There is no need to choose Performance / Conditioning when your child first joins DFC.
Consistent Hip Hop training comes first. Additional opportunities can then be introduced when appropriate for the individual student.

Students develop a broad range of movement skills rather than simply memorising choreography.

Confidence Can Grow Here.
Your child does not need to arrive already feeling confident. They simply need somewhere they feel comfortable enough to begin.

Every Skill Starts Somewhere.
